Real Magic by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer
This book really opened my eyes to a deeper and more personal sense of spirituality and faith in my life. Dr. Dyer believes that we can create miracles everyday in our lives by just our thoughts, and makes some very compelling arguments.
My favorite part in the book was where he challenge us not to view our lives as physical beings with spiritual experiences, but instead spiritual beings experiencing physical journeys. What an awesome way to look at the world. It gives me a different perspective from which to look at life, a more bright and beautiful world where I have a grander sense of purpose.
Dr. Dyer also believes our intuition, that sense of, "Something told me to..." is actually our God, our divine consciousness speaking out to us. I really think he just might be right. When I just think over the list year, and listening to my intuition regarding certain dilemmas in my life, things have an uncanny way of working out for the better. Also, many doors have been opened up for me. Dr. Dyer also mentioned the saying, "When the student is ready, the teacher will appear." I am finally ready, and many teachers have appeared for me.
My final favorite part was where Dr. Dyer spoke about looking for the lesson in every person you encounter. He echoes the same theme as Brian Tracy in Change Your Thinking, Change Your Life, when Mr. Tracy spoke about inverse paranoia. I have been viewing everyone I meet as another opportunity to improve myself. In fact, every morning when I wake up, I remind myself to look for the day's lesson. It gives me a constant sense of curious wonder about what the world has to offer for that day.
